It has Gorings "coat of Arms" which means nothing. ....I find the engraving to look sloppy, to say the least
When you're wounded and left of Afghanistan's plains,
An' the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle an' blow out your brains,
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier." - Rudyard Kipling
Not "Goering-Quality"...Alpaca Silver is a cheap alloy of copper, nickel, and zinc...Cheap imitation silver for the Reichsmarschall? No way...
I would have thought the funds of fatty G would have stretched to solid silver, also if silver plate items are engraved it is done before the plating process and not after!...
all the stuff in Carinhall was cleared out before they blow it up.a fake item imo.
A shame, actually, as Carinhall was a magnificent building...
"Much that once was, is lost. For none now live who remember it."
This doesn't even look engraved. It looks like a recent acid etch. They couldn't even take the time to get the template properly aligned. Even the forgers are getting lazy.
Charlie Snyder would have loved it.......
