Hello,
is it ex-libris from the Hermann Göring library?
When I was buying, I was told that the book had been found in his home on Obersalzberg.
Thank you

Well, the impression on the page opposite the Title Page is definitely Göring’s coat of arms, and he styled himself as a critical collector of fine arts. It followes that he would have had a study of art by Antonio Allegri da Correggio (August 1489 – March 5, 1534), better known as Correggio, who was the foremost painter of the Parma school of the High Italian Renaissance. His use of dynamic composition, illusionistic perspective, and dramatic foreshortening, prefigured the Baroque art of the 17th century and the Rococo art of the 18th century. He is considered a master of chiaroscuro that features dramatic contrast between dark and light, and shadows. This is an example of his chiaroscuro type work , titled, Nativity (1529-30) Dwight
