Hitler bust help
My family are currently the owners of a bronze bust of Hitler. We believe that there were three busts made which were original casts of Hitler's face, this particular bust was placed in Leipzig Germany on the military headquarters when Hitler came to power in 1933. My grandfather was in the war and when the headquarters were attacked this bust subsequently fell into his hands and he brought it back to England. About fifteen years ago he had the bust authenticated by the imperial war museum in London and they told him that it was the best representation of Hitler's Busts they have seen. The bust is signed by what we think says h v/y Beckerath however we are not entirely sure, we are currently interested in finding out more about the bust and possibly selling, do you believe it is of any value and would you able to help us? I have also attached some photos.
