hello all, i have been offered this for $250. it seems to be made of bronze or copper , maybe zinc based as it is heavy. it is maker marked on reverse. in great shape. i am wondering what it says on it, what it was for etc. and also a fair market value for this piece i am to buy

i will try to get better shots of the makers mark also there is another inscription on the reverse...

Original plaque,the price is the going price for it, but would try for 200$

il try for $200, i am unsure of what it says on the front and the rear has an inscription as well

on the front my translator says - 'the requirement for doing the will and the .... i am having trouble with the last word or words on the bottom

For $200 it's not bad.

That is a lot more money.
things are cheaper here in the US.

i would think in the uk it would be more plentiful and cheaper. i never have seen one here like this in the usa. not to say theres not alot here . just never seen one in this good of shape for 250, he's a friend so i may be able to try for 2
