    Heres a souvenir from the period reflecting A.H,s favorite flower the "Edelweiss" - reads" Greetings from Munchen- - The Leaders favorite Flower"- the disc is approx. 3" round with a hanger on the reverse.

    Great example of "Nationaler Kitsch"...I also recall a schmaltzy song around 1935 "Der Edelweiss ist des Fuehrers Lieblingsblume"...

    Do you mean this one Glenn? It's not exactly George Formby or Gracie Fields material though....

    The song was used in 'The World At War' series (from where the clip was taken-remember it well!).
