    Thanks for the link! This came from a vet not Charlie Snyder!From the link info this fork is original,figured it was.John these are not common items found in motels,they are pretty scarce and expensive,a fork from a set of one of Hitlers formal pattern silverware.

    It's the real deal and these AH formal pattern pieces were NOT in every hotel but rather in Hitlers residents and official buildings such as the Brown house.

    Colt it's pure silver. Over the years of handling and abuse the soft metal would of certainly wore down, and had detail lost. Especially at the designs location exactly where your hand would most often been placed. Best regards.
