A nother look at it a desk set for pen and ink bottel ageen around 1900

Desk set was really my first thought. The back groove would fit a Cutlass as well, so do not know. But it makes for a neat item.

Don't think it is resine, more a soft stone, easy to cut! I think soap stone.
