    Hello

I got this plate, it was my Great grandmothers. I am having trouble finding infos about it.
My grandfather told me it was a Winterhilfswerk plate.
I am not familiar with WHW items or porcelain items, but it does not look like a WHW item to me, even if it was just for the marking.

But he could be right that it was like WHW that you got it in return for giving money to some association.
Could the initials stand for "Nationale Volks Pflege" or "Volkswohlfahrt" ?

I dont know, hope you can help me out!

Thank you very much for having a look.

Stands for Volkswohlfahrt(NSV) - today we call it a welfare program. Has nothing to do with the WHW.

These plate were usually sold to raise funds to support the Welfare program , mainly around the Holiday/Christmas period. If you google the internet you will find some info.
