A keen metal detectorist found this ring on a major US WW2 site in QLD Australia it is sterling silver, can anyone identify it, at this point we are presuming it was a souvenir taken while serving overseas.

The LGS we believe stands for "L. Gottlieb & Söhne, Oberstein" and the 36 probably 1936 year of the Olympics we know this company made Belt Buckles but cannot find any reference to Rings.Name: LGS 36.png
