just fell upon this with secs to go on ebay and as i like pottery jumped on it, am i right in thinking its meissen pottery and above all does it look ok ? cheers Dave

Hi Dave, I am not sure if this plate is reproduced or not? You are right on the makers mark. I would give it a cautious thumbs up. The hanger looks period and appears to have some age to it.

There is also a Winter commemorative version of this plate which I will show just for interest's sake. Sadly not mine, but a pic I took in Berlin.

Detlev Nieman just sold a plate like that today for about $350 dollars. Was this the same item? Could be suspicious that similar items are popping up in the market place.

Hi, i have absolutely no concerns now its landed and in hand,its 100% i got it from a private seller whos relative brought it back, i will post more pics later, cheers Dave
