    Default Military Furniture Marking.

    Guys,

This is the marking on a double wardrobe found in Bergen Belsen barracks arround 10-13 years ago.
I got a couple of these in the cellar of MB20 (Manschaft Barracken).
They were for the axe then 'Guy Fawks' but I have given them a new home.

The H.U. is 'Heers Unterkumft' (spell check) or 'Army property'.

Hi Jock, glad you saved them

What would be really nice would be to have one of these and fill it with the regulation gear just as it would have appeared before inspection. It would make a great display.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Ade,

That is my intent, I have the larger type as well that features in the Riebert books. I hope to make a 'Locker lay out' one day.
