Munich

Article about: Yes the stein is useable but I haven't yet used it to drink my favorite brew.

Here's a little Munich themed display that I put together. The period Burgerbraukeller stein was an early Christmas gift to myself!

Thanks my friend, the stein would go well with your Burgerbraukeller dishes, ha?

Very nice München themed display, Erich! You must have been a good boy this year that Santa brought you this awesome Bürgerbräu Stein. Is the Münchner Kindl a period piece too?

    Cheers, MB

    And... "Frohe Weihnachten!"

Hi MB and thanks for the kind words. The Kindl is by Allach, Mahnmal statue and 1st pattern Blood Order are all period.

Hi Erich, thanks for the extra info. Your fine example of the Blood Order I've seen elsewhere on the forum. But the Allach Kindl was new to me. As I am too scared to break and ruin them I never bothered to collect porcelain pieces so far and probably will never do so. Same goes for Steins. I do, however, know to appreciate them whenever I have the chance to see them. Therefore, thanks a lot for sharing this Munich group!

Having said that, I've always admired your themed displays. Coburg, Nürnberg and Thüringen, if I remember correcly, and now München. They all leave me green with envy!

    Cheers, MB.
