My first German ring

Article about: William I'm glad you said that because I was going mad trying to find that site. I picked the ring up for \\$40 so I don't think I got hurt to bad.

    Very nice one!
    Typical early privat purchase patriotica.
After the law "Gesetz zum Schutze der nationalen Symbole" (law for protecting the national symbols) starting 1933 most of this was forbidden.
    I would say a late 20ies/early 30ies ring.

    Sure.
Common mass produced period rings in different variants - very nice, but not real rare.

I Do like the 2 piece construction, though. This one, at least, was no Dime Store purchase, but of fairly nice quality. These patriotic women's rings appear every so often- I see them every now and then. I believe that Butschek had one the last time I looked in his inventory.

Oh sure...now that I Said that, I took a look into Butschek's site and see it's gone...Oh well! It wasn't too much money, though, if I remember right.
