Sorry Nuno, it is Junk to put it bluntly.

Fake badge glued to an old cigarette case. A favourite fakers ploy.

Bear in mind this was one of the most highly regarded Party awards. No one would have dared to do such a thing in the period.

Hi Nuno, it is a common trick. Old cases can be found cheaply in junk shops, flea markets etc.

Another example of the lengths that some of these "dealers" will go to to try to make money. I use the term "make" as they clearly don't "earn" it. You did the right thing posting it on the forum Nuno, well done for checking it out before diving in with a bid/purchase.

Silly thing to do, its worth more without the junk pin glued to it IMO.
