This particular sign is mostly found in metal which was posted on the outside of a building housing the local political organizations and where one could note a need to visit one of the offices. The sign reflected is made of wood and was used inside a building, this construction is the first one Ive seen, its my guess that not to many wood ones survived.

Hi Horst, I have never seen or heard of a wooden version before. Thanks for showing it! When I first glance at the pics I had simply assumed it was a metal enamel version.
