Lovely green colour NSKK Plaque.

May be a participation or just a commemorative badge, for a ride around the Bavarian mountains in 1937?

About 2 x 3 inches in size and has some weight to it as well.

I believe there is a "Red" version also?

Bottom picture shows a NSDAP lapel pin badge for the actual size.

Hi Phil, I think it's more of a plaque than a badge, certainly there isn't any attachments on the back for a pin..

Pretty heavy too.

I'm on the look out for the "Red" version..

I saw one the other day, but for the life of me I can not remember where

I think it is a participation badge, due to the upper words: Ride through the Bavarian mountains.
Held in 1937.

As far as I remember suchlike rides were also held after the war, promoted by the ADAC.
