Political Lampions

Heres two paper political Lampions(paper lantern,s) both are spring loaded and fold and are made out of paper. There are candle holders in each one securely mounted to the bottom wire.These were carried or hung on the celebration of a Political Holiday i.e. Hitlers Birthday etc. One reflects a swastika on each side the other reflects an image of Adolf Hitler on each side. These lanterns are very fragile and not often found, approx 8" in diameter.

I've never seen one with Hitler's face. Really cool piece Horst, thanks for sharing. Paper Lantern + Candle Flame = Not many left

As it happens I’ve recently managed to track one down and bought
Great condition , no fire marks, Extremely rare and only a handful left around the world / one sold for a high price a few yrs back I recall, worth hanging on to just for the rarity

Amazing those lamps survived. Someone had the foresight to tuck them away and that's what makes collecting so interesting, you never know what your going to find.
