Price 1939 Bremen

Hi!
We have a discussion on a facebook group about this plaque.
The owner claims that it is a boxing price.
awarded to a Swedish who beat a German.
but I can not find anything about any known match at that time?
It's a dream sport award?

Hello Michael,
I think it would be a struggle to prove that it that the plaque was awarded for a boxing match in Bremen at the end of January.

All I see is a plaque with the NSRL eagle and a dated plaque below for the Free hannestadt Bremen.

There are old boxing magazines available but you would have to see if a Swedish/German competition was held on that date.

Below is an example what you would have to look for...This one is dated middle of January but it does mention the German/Finnish competition.
