i've got to go with Bob Coleman on this one.

there's a huge difference in detail there.

as an art collector, whether a painting is genuine and done by whom it is purported to have been done by or not, you do not want paintings that are stylistically too far out in left field when there is insufficient provenance to make up for this. they will always be questioned and will always be nightmares to move should you ever want to sell the thing.

Just got some emails back from 2 people in regards to the paintings.
They both said the same things.
First was the frames.....second was also the signatures dont even look close to any of his previous works.
Plus no docouments of any kind.
    O well work a shot.
    Thanks for everyones input.
    Rgds Peter.

'Nay' for me as well - Both pieces are extremely poor. A so-called artist could do
much better than these - even one who was kicked out of Art School !
The painted 'frame' around the sailboat is pathetic..........

yeah i got a couple of her doodles. she has a couple in the white house. that painting will cost you about 1500. so kiwipete should get himself one of these. then he'll have a really nice painting and 4500 bucks in change.

peter's right. you join up, pay a couple of bucks, get saved from a fake hitler painting and get an alternative art suggestion to boot. you can't beat it with a stick.
