Unit not to often seen a Recon stein for"2nd company recon detachment 7" - the neat thing and also rare is the fact that all the members by rank, are listed on the stein which usually was done in the WWI steins but not to often on WII steins.

Here is a bit of info on the unit taken from the Lexikon website:
Aufklärungs-Abteilung 7
Aufgestellt am 2. August 1939 in Bamberg für die 7. Infanterie-Division aus der II./Kavallerie-Regiment 17. Stab und Reiter-Schwadron traten am 15. Dezember 1939 zum Reiter-Regiment 21. Am 29. Juli 1940 wurde die Abteilung in Radfahr-Bataillon 7 umbenannt, dazu kamen Teile der Aufklärungs-Abteilung 253.
Am 8. August 1941 wieder in Aufklärungs-Abteilung 7 umbenannt unter Hinzuziehung des Stabes und der 1./Aufklärungs-Abteilung 239. Im Winter 1942/43 erneut in Radfahr-Abteilung 7 umbenannt, am 29. April 1943 wieder Aufklärungs-Abteilung 7 und am 2. Oktober 1943 Divisions-Füsilier-Bataillon 7.
