I doubt it is "self made".
Any maker marks on, or around the bottom?

An old piece ruined by fakers. Why would anybody during the Third Reich have soldered a Luftwaffe eagle and an SS tinnie to a bowl?
Another piece of old silver plate doctored up with fake badges.
And as Andreas said why a Luft eagle and SS tinnie.
No maker on it, yes it will be "self made", i think so too, sadly for the badge on it.
Thanks!
yes, this is true, so what you all think, not worse to collect?
thank you all!
No not worth it.

It's really the oldest trick in the book: Fakers take old metal items - typically cigarette cases, hip flasks, pocket watches, goblets, platters etc. - and nazify them by soldering (usually fake) badges to them and/or embellishing them with spurious engravings. In doing so, they often go for a complete overload, with their add-ons being utterly implausible by their nature, number, composition or any combination thereof.
The eagle looks fake so the much rarer SS tinnie is probably bad too.
Post here if possible before purchasing anything, especially non-issue items.
Welcome to the forum, sorry for the bad news.
