Soldier in Action
Desk top trophy reflecting a Wehrmacht soldier throwing a potatoe masher and holding a 98k rifle. The figure is very realistic with addtional grenades etc straped to him. Its rare to find this trophy with the rifle as it can be removed and often gets lost.

Nick - no makers mark or dates - this trophy could have been attached to either a piece of wood or marble with dedications and at sometime removed??.

Is the bottom of the statue hollow or solid? Any indication that this was once attached to a marble or wooden plate?
Nonetheless a beautifull item...

Nick - The base is hollow and has fittings that indicate that it could be attached to somthing , although I have seen these with and without marble/wood attachments.
