    It would appear that not every thing in the Third Reich was quality controlled.
    I happen to like it, flaws and all.

    I just love this hobby!! Nothing wrong with this piece. I remember discussing the hobby with a dealer friend and a couple pieces that were being scrutinized at that time which must be a couple years ago now at least. And concerning quality control the statement was made " There is god, and then there is the German's". That about sums it up really.

    Not all pieces are perfect, but I look at porcelain and crafts where variables are at play.

    Now that's a rare piece. I've seen that sign of the man with the hood on the second picture before. I believe I saw it somewhere in austria. I wonder what it means...
