    Default Third Reich Matchboxes

    Good afternoon,

I have been offered these Third Reich propaganda matchboxes.

I do not know if the examples shown are original but do you know if they are original and what other ones were produced during the era?

    Thank you, Glen.

    Agreed. Nearly impossible to fake.

    Thank you guys.

I was slightly concerned as I see a lot of fake/fantasy metal match box holders... Is there any reference sites regarding Third Reich matchboxes?

    Thank you, Glen.

These are fakes that have artwork that was originally poster art. There's quite a few of them floating around the gun-- and militaria shows.

Anything can be faked, but I think you maybe joking? Similar fakes have been posted here before, sorry Glenny.

It was a p!ss take on the previous posters comment I admit. I think anyone is aware that all you need is an ink jet printer and a few tuppenny match boxes to start a little fire in the collecting community. Come on, it's Ned here....
