Two German Window box flags, Genuine?

Got these two german window box flags in a bundle with a Heer aluminuim belt buckle in a military auction a few weeks ago for a pretty good price, I have already posted the buckle on the buckle part of the forum a week or so ago and the guys agreed it was genuine, here is the link Heer Aluminium Belt Buckle

The white circle has been sewn on and the swastika seems to be printed on, have done a burn test and the material seems to be cotton.

These were sold in the auction as "German window box flags", any info on them for where they would have been used or authenticity would be appreciated.

These are original WWII era flags. Sewing on seam, rondal, and swaz size look good. Lots of different flags like this for different purposes. I suppose since they're square, they could have been window hangers.
