Article about: Hi' Guys, Once again I've can up against a brick wall. Opinions would be gratefully accepted, Imperial?, T.R.? The piece is well made and is marked 100 for silver plate.Thanks in advance!!

    I would be extremely wary regarding this fork. The 'blackening' that is supposed to be patina is identical to that found on fake medals, badges and many other items that are reproduction. The fact that it's absolutely stone mint is another concern. I personally would definitely avoid this piece.

    An example of a typical item that is given this fake patina that apes the genuine build up on silver items, in this case a really classy cowboy buckle.....But you get the idea.
