    Hi all,
Thought this Wine Bottle holder might be of interest

It is old, heavy, very worn (excellent patina) & on the (very worn) bottom there are 3 stamps which are difficult to see!

The last stamp on the right seems to be a German Eagle
The first & second stamp seem to be the same with the word FEIN (maybe) & the second word starting with a 'Z'

Item is very intriguing & if anyone has any thoughts on the piece I would be very interested to hear them
    Many thanks
    Cadman

    Hello cadman,

Although it is a very nice presentable piece, I fail to see any connection to the Third Reich I'm afraid. The right hand symbol that you refer to doesn't really strike me as a known adler pattern, or at least not one that I recognise.

    Regards,

    Carl

Very nice indeed, but doesnt look like TR IMO, as mentioned above.

    Nothing to do with TR,
Stamps are the pewter maker's marks.
