hard to state the production date as it can be post-war commemorative piece - for soldiers from Bern (Switzerland) in service in 1945.
Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

The seller says, "WOOD ANTIQUE NUMBERED PLATE RECOGNITION GIVEN AS PERSONAL GERMAN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE operating from BERNE SWISS CITY DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR"

Nonsense....I rather doubt that German secret agents in a foreign country had their superiors hand them out wooden commemorative plates to celebrate after the war's end...the war that they Lost, by the way...assuming, of course, that their superiors were even still alive and not dead or in prison or on the run -not to mention that the German Intelligence Agency ceased to exist in May of 1945....

Meyle had a much more logical and believable response.

Original but has nothing to do with the III Reich. Just a Swiss commemorative plate.
