Saturday 9th June & Sunday 10th, Saturdays find were, WD & Air ministry tools, US Barcalo spanners and a nice Goss china piece, in the shape of a "Trench Motar".
Sunday days finds were a Mk6 Kevlar helmet, a black beret with a RNA badge and some photos, one on HMS Rodney 1937/38, one of a Dennis bus (with blackout hoods on the headlights) and one faint photo, showing a couple (the man in British uniform), leaning against a car, which I think is a Opel Olympia, it has Allied stars on the front of the wings and 1.8Atu on the wheel arches, maybe a captured vehicle ?
I also picked up a 1944 medical card to a civilian in London.

Saturday 21 July, well after over a month of rained off carboots, the sun shone today and at last the chance to get out, finds were a WD 1945 axe, officers naval cap, a stirrup pump, a commerative piece of porcelain (WW1 era), 2 Mk6a kevlar helmets, an officers silver cap badge to the Worcestershire reg and a pewter plate with the following engraved on it :-
    Presented
    to Captain Davis
    in Commeration of the
storming at the Megg (or possibly Hegg) Feb (7th possibly) 1863
On this memorable occasion Cap tn
Davis in command of the Beds
    and Herts Voluteers by the
    skilful disposition of his
forces put all the enemy to
    flight and remained
    Master of the Field.

I've searched the web, but can't seem to find any details for the above.
Weather forecast good for tomorrow !

Gary I noticed you mentioned a P60 ammuntion box. I've been looking for a P59 or P60 ammo box. Is the one you have for sale?

Saturday August 18th, an interesting find of an invitation for a H M Samuelson, to the German Aero Club Sports Fly In, 28 to 31 July 1939, lot consists of invitation, list of all foreign competitors, list of German competitors, list of events and a booklet of vouchers for food and drink to H M Samuelson, also in the same box were 2x RAF wartime maps, with H M Samuelson stamped on them. It is interesting to think that many of the competitors would have probably seen combat in the following years against each other possibly ?
Also found were some WW1 press photos and some naval buttons.

Close up of the invitation and the reverse of the voucher booklet, which has written in pencil "Oberleutnant Fritz Schurmeyer", he is also mentioned in the German competitors booklet.
