    The makers mark on the Japanese bayonet is gone.

    One side has 5991 with an unknown letter below it, and the other side is 48 CVE.

    The German bayonet is a kar98 M1884/98 III and was most likely made by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen

    Found a mess kit (pretty sure its WWII), National defense service medal, good conduct medal and bar, a bar grouping, WWII pillow case, navy and marine corps achievement bar, camouflaged gauze and a second armored division shirt.

    Pretty sure the OD Shirt and the Bandage are 1970s, Vietnam Era...I think you're coming along rather well, no worries friend...
