I found out it must be a French submarine, but they had 10 ships over all theyre naval history runnig by the same name.
All I wanted to know is if it could be commemorating a II WW ship?

It is mentioned as a chest insigna for commanders of submarines, the only thing is; thise one as two crossed swords , yours have only one sword....
