Arnhem CLE drop canister clip

Hi Guys, the British Airborne Forces used a drop canster know as a "CLE cannister", named after it design by the "Central Landing Establishment".

Here is a clip from one of these. This held the canister to the aircraft and was released with the cannister when it was dropped. This was taken off the container and discarded upon opening.

This one was discovered in an house outbuilding in Oosterbeek, Arnhem by a Dutch friend of mine and he kindly sold it to me some years ago.
