Back Again...most recent finds!

Article about: Welcome back. How much did you pay for the civil gas mask and carrier? I just saw one today in an antique mall but didn't get it. Not sure a value on them. PM me is you'd like. Thanks. Nice

    Default Back Again...most recent finds!

Hey guys. I haven't on in a really long time. Because of marching band camp, summer papers, and illnesses in the family I haven't had the time to do much shopping for militaria. Here are some of my more recent finds from either from antiqueshops or fleamarkets. The best deal I got was on the jumper, for $15.00 (everything included)

2 CD helmets, one with a decal/one without.
Large civilian gas mask w/ canvas carrier
    Swiss M-18 helmet
US Navy jumper with pants, tie and hat
    Ration books/stamps, from Raleigh '43
    WW2 era Cleveland Plain Dealer

Also, my neighbor who is an antique dealer, found a civil war photograph in the back of a late 1800's writing desk. He gave it to me, and wants me to find more about it. If anyone knows about Civil War era pictures please let me know and I'll upload it.

The attachments do not work, can you please post directly on the forum. My Wife had ancestors who fought in the civil war (and also in the war of independence).

Huh, I posted them directly with the fourm uploader (and they worked for me). Let me try again:

It does that sometimes and has worked this time. Thanks for re posting them. My wife said "damn Yankees" as her relatives fought for the South, though she is from near Boston.

    You're welcome
I am liking the picture more and more now for some reason. Too bad I can't read the handwriting on the back...i'd reasearch the people in the photo.
