    Default "barn find": 98k patronentasche

    Hello All,

First post here on this forum and I thought I'd begin with this nice "barnfind" from Belgium. (Actually, the farmer found it in his barn and then gave it to me).
It's a 1937 dated brown k98k pouch, with the original 1941 dated ammunition still in it. (all Armor piercing bullets I believe (black tip)? and 1 clip with normal rounds).
Any information that is wrong or that you can add, I'm pleased to hear.
    (does anybody recognise the maker?)

Hello Jakke and welcome to the forum. Please use in future the forum's uploading for the picture, due of your pictures will lost after a month.
This is Lufwaffe pouch which has Luftwaffe stampings of Flieger Horst Kommandature. Try to find the Gewehr itself due of the similar items was usually hided with it's "main piece"

Thank you very much Nick, I've tried to upload the pics through the forum, but it wouldn't work. I'll post some more stuff here in the future, so I'll try it again a couple of times.
Dimas, thanks for the information, I didn't know it was Luftwaffe. I'll try to make contact with the farmer but I only know him "via via".
He also gave me a pair of leather (motorcycle) gaitors, probably from a retreating Belgian soldier.

    Cheers, Jakke
