I think my father brought this back from WWII. The marks on the blade are D.O.V. and BER III (we think). We think the D.O.V. is manufacturing code for Waffenwerke Bruenn (or Brunn), Wsetin (Vsetin) plant, Czechoslovakia. We haven't been able to identify if it is a bayonet or knife, and any value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

By first look, the blade and scabbard looks like a KS 98 Bayonet, and probably the handle was attached to convert the knife to the trench knife
