Hi Joe, I used to have the 3rd Inf Div one about the Battle of the Marne. I got a good price for it when I sold my US collection many years ago.

    They are super prints.

    Cheers, Ade.
Thanks for the reply, Ade! They really are very cool... beautifully done, great color and detail! I know a Korean War vet who may appreciate the "Breakthough at Chipyong-Ni" print, the others would look great framed and in my classroom/ with my collection.

All of the prints have damage, but luckily it's all below the line that says: "cut here for framing"

Hi Joe, get them framed That would be a great use for them.

    Any ideas on the mag?

Looks very similar to a Browning High Power to me?

    Cheers, Ade.

The mag has a 15rnd cap...it says 9mm 9/05 check-mate ind. inc. wyandanch, ny usa on one side, and "restricted - law enforcement/ govt use only" on the other...

    I'm thinking it's for a Beretta 9mm pistol

Thanks! Good to know. Modern, post 1945 stuff is a mystery to me.

    Cheers, Ade.

No problemo, Ade. I think it's illegal for me to have this mag in New York State...

Possibly why some one ditched it in the first place...

Yes, probably. Luckily, I have relatives in law enforcement who I'm sure can make use of it.

    Hi folks,

Yesterday I visited the F.D. Roosevelt mansion and presidential library. Looks like they've rented out a dumpster from my family!

I doubt they will throw anything historical in there... BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!

Here is a photo I snapped from my car. It's placed next to a small fieldstone building behind the library. Perhaps it served as a servant's quarters while the president lived there?

Nice, you don't need me to tell you to have a good rummage when they are done with it

    Got these yesterday!

The one on the bottom is a Remington Model 600 in .308.

The one on the top is a mystery to me... I can't see any markings. At first I thought it was an airgun of somesort... There is a removal ramrod in the butt stock. Perhaps a muzzle loader?

Both are pretty well rusted... I'm confident that the Model 600 can be restored as the action still functions fine and the bore looks good, with strong rifling, just a little dirty.
