You really never know what will turn up! To be honest, I only ever acquired bayonets to complete my rifles. I never wanted to collect blades. Dress bayonets and dress daggers are something I swore I'd never buy/own just because they don't really interest me. With that being said, I wouldn't turn down something for free!
They look WWII to me.

Hi Joe, these are post war:
The "RA" (Regular Army) serial number prefix designation was not introduced untill the 50's.
"T59" would indicate a Tetenus Jab in 1959.
Cheers, Ade.

Garbage find of the day! Believe it or not, these two went thru the grinder! I can't find any major damage except that the boxes are dirty and the Silver Star lapel pin is missing a little square of white enamel. The Purple Heart box has a little mold sprouting, Silver Star ribbon is lost to the trash heap
Awesome finds! Stinks that they went through the grinder though.

What kind of person throws these out.....
yeah yeah, I know; persons not interested in decorations and history, but still.....
Are they named/numbered to the soldier?
