The pistol is nailed to the lamp... The hammer cocks and fires, but something is stuck in the barrel. The lamp works, too

Using a 'pulley'(?) for a lamp is new to me. The pistol...., well

For some strange reason, I like that pulley lamp.
I dont have room for it, but in the right spacious 'man cave,' that might fit in

I like the lamp Joe.
Makes for an interesting Conversation piece for your living room.
What wonders we find in the trash that people throw away. I really wonder over the years how much WWII and WWI stuff was lost because people have no clue what they have or the family history that goes with it.

Mmmmm, I frequent a St Vincent's charity shop. And several others besides, mainly for sci-fi books and DVDs. I have picked up the odd item of militaria - well books on military history to be precise. Oh, and recently some Commando comics. Remember them?

And yeah, I'd much rather donate to charity than throw stuff away if it's useable and I no longer need it. And as someone who volunteers for two charities (Cats Protection and Red Cross), it's nice to be able to raise funds from good stuff. On the other hand, some peeps donate rubbish which then has to be taken to the tip.
