It's amazing what you find donated to charities too... I've found some lovely books in charity shops e.g. Jane's fighting ships, bound copies of "War Illustrated", a set of "The Second Great War" and such like. And my mum volunteers for a local charity and she's picked up a few things for me in amongst the ironically more junky bags of donations; some trench art, shell cases, a china WW1 victory mug (cracked, but I don't care) and a WW1 silk scarf embroidered with the Royal Artillery badge.

I dunno... Is it a lack of education? Or just a serious case of "don't care"?

I thought I had mentioned this already. An older gentleman gave my father a set of Italian web gear to give me. I also got a mix of old 30.06 in Garand enblocs and Springfield stripper clips. Headstamps are SL and WRA 43. There are 56rnds of 30.06 total... 16rnds on two enblocs and 40 on eight stripper clips. The clips still have the tabs holding ammo on.
