I was wandering around the sale, not having much luck when I saw these. "How much for the khaki stripes?" I asked.
    "£4" she said.
"Ok, I'll keep looking and might come back later."
(Later). "How much for the stripes" I asked the much older man now at the stall.

"Two for a pound." He said.....
"OK. I'll take the two sets of stripes", I said.
"Tell you what" says he, "you can have the lot for two pounds".

I feel a bit guilty but as he said, he couldn't be bothered to take them home again.... Good for me!

I haven't looked into them much yet, but I just love finding these things. The Flemalle Haute badge is a mystery to me. A municipality in Belgium I have found out, but what the badge is from I don't know. Any info would be cool.

    Cheers, Brian

I agree nice finds. I like how the red rank stripes have poppers on the back..... for quick demotions I guess Also, I would'nt feel too guilty, the guy made the price up, not you. He could just as easily have stuck to his guns

The 7th Army is from the 70s or 80s, and the patch with the crossed swords looks like it could be from the middle east

    Thanks for the info.

That will help me narrow it down.
