Flashlight ID

I picked this flashlight up at the car boot yesterday it is about 4 inches in length colour is olive green.
I was told it was US army can anyone confirm this.

Battery is a single c cell 1.5 volt (U11).

I am making my first trip of the 'season' to the massive carboot round my neck of the woods tomorrow. Fingers crossed ! My last find at the end of last 'season' was some RAF goggles for £1
