Flea Finds

Found a few things today I bought some and had a few questions on the rest. I would also like this thread to be for anyones use to post antique store or flea market finds unless there is a similar thread?

First the things I bought...

Is the belt some kind of WW1 Calvary variation?

Here are a few I didnt buy

Does anyone know what this is for?

I thought the 4ft shell was cool and thought the antenna was possibly German but It definatley looks Swiss... Any comments?

The M1912 US Pistol belt with sabre hanger is a nice find.

Thanks for the information Ade I picked it up for 5$ I couldn't pass it up for that! What kind of personnel would use the belt Calvary or officers? -Ben

The antenna is Swedish/Danish.

Thanks for the comments Id like to have that shell but 150 is to high for my college budget. Would that size of shell be fired off the deck gun? When I first saw the belt I thought it was some kind of field modification, glad to learn something new! anyone have any idea what that drum is for?

HAHA do you think it is for food use? I originally thought that because of the preserve stamp. Do you think it is more modern or WWII era? If its WWII I am considering getting it because its dirt cheap.
