    That is a great little group for a great price! You did very well.

    The trousers are not British issue, but could be British made for the US Forces? Any other markings? What is the letter before the "S"?

    ade, the trousers marking is a 3.
    there are several stampings of someone's name.
    what is confusing me is the grayish green coloring.
    they almost look like a swiss army great coat that i have!

    The more I look at the stamp, the less I think these are British made. I think the makers details end in "Co Inc" which is an American term. Could these be USMC? They wore a grey/green colour.

    lol,possibly! thanks ade. one of the things i love about this hobby!
    finding something and then researching its origins.
    always interesting and rewarding!
    and has the potential to help on identifying items that you might have passed by without knowing what they were!
