The slouch hat looks to be a modern one with a weird band on it... Either that or a repro with a weird band on it

hi Rich It's a commercial one sold in camping and surplus stores over here, although It's pretty much the same as a real one but just made for the civilian market. Emerco did make issued head wear in the 60's and 70's for the Australian army though but mainly officers caps.
Still a nice buy you just need to find a pugaree to put on it now.
What is the size? I may have a spare.
