I picked these up this morning, 1940 jack knife (unfortunately the blade is broken), a spring balance used by armourers to set a Vickers machine gun and a british she'll casing dated 1901. Can anyone identify what this casing is from?

This is what I have come out with after a good 3 flea market trips. Nothing fancy, but every piece is history, and is just as important in my eyes!

I have a similar style hat from the Knights Templar. I'm pretty sure this is what you have. If the patch isn't original to the cap, I'm sure you'll see this cross underneath. These are pretty scarce variations and very old. These secret society items were not meant for non members and forbidden to pass on to family. They were supposed to be destroyed after death.
