    Default Found what I believe is a trench art lamp. Can anyone help validate?

    I found this lamp at a trift store a while back. It has a wooden base and what appears to be a artillary shell. The workmanship is really solid. Can anyone verify that it is a shell and possibly what type it may be? The lamp is 24 inches tall and the electrical components look old. Thanks for your help....
