Found at a carboot sale today

Hi all found these items this week at my local carboot sale ww1 prop with clock and a poncho/zeltbahn.Can anybody tell me if the poncho/zeltbahn is german please.I saw it and just snatched it straight away assuming it was a german zeltbahn i dont think it is now looking at it it should be triangular should it not? all the buttons are unmarked aluminiun.
