    Nice buys.

What are the markings on the shell case? I cannot make them out.

The shilling is actually made of solid silver. Post war our coins were debased to cupro-nickle.

    Cheers, Ade.

Shell looks like a 40mm, and the primer looks to be dated 1944. I love the telephone

Hi guys thanks for looking at my new junk. Steve I'm lucky I've never smoked but I just couldn't pass up this little trench art ashtray. Phil this little junk store has dug up some nice little treasures for me. John thanks for looking . Ben I think I've got a line on a receiver for the phone then it will be even nicer. Hi Ade I was looking up the shilling its almost a shame they used it on the ashtray, but it does give it a nice look. Steve T your spot on with the 40mm nice job. Thanks again guys for looking Gary
