Nice score!! I can tell you have young kids too... Your house looks like mine used to when my kids were 1 and 3... I raised them on my own and they used to completely trash the place LOL

Hey Guys
Couple years back I found this at an auction with a pile of various newer uniform stuff. I donlt know much about this tunic as I can't find a specific reference to it. It is USA and the buttons are marked 1876 Goodwin the fabric is old and I think its a national guard dress tunic from the late 1800's. if anyone knows what the heck this is I would appreciate any info. I got it for a bargain for sure. What is extremely strange is that there are pockets on the inside of the tails and I have never seen or heard of anything like that. Fabic is dark blue and red cuffs and accents, roping is bullion thread well oxidised , there is some mothing and swet strains on the lining and it sure looks like a real deal tunic. So if anyone knows anything about this it would be greatly apreciated.
I hope the image uploads as I am rather inept with this computer stuff.
No image yet Eva.
Regards,
John
