Help to ID Bulett casings found in France
Article about: 9 bulett casings in Brittany the brocilande / paimpiont forest area near to mauron. One of the casings on the base as T over E then opposite 4 opposite a 5 over 2. Another one as on base a T

At first glance they look like either .30cal American cartridges or 7.92mm German.
However, the headstamps bear no resemblance to either. The only reference I can find for TE is a French manufacturer. The other headstamp I cannot ID at all.
Can you take some better photos and include some of the headstamps themselves ?

i will get some better pics tonight.....another one I have cleaned up reads on the base E then opposite D then on top 4 and on bottom 5

155mm is a little to big for a .30 or a 7.92mm round. In fact thats bigger than a .50 or a 20mm round. Is 155mm correct?

Did you mean 55mm long?They could be 7.5x54mm French MAS.
